PhotoshopTapes in PPSV Video Library
"Photoshop 7 and a Wacom tablet," by Scott Kelby, Editor of Photoshop User magazine, demonstrates how to take maximum advantage of Photoshop's tablet integration. He shows which brush options to enable for pressure and size sensitivity, what other options are available, and some practical uses for them, including some portrait retouching tricks.
The remaining three tapes are by Ben Willmore, author of the Adobe Photoshop 6 Studio Techniques book and an important contributor to the development of the latest upgrade to photoshop, and founder of Digital Mastery, a training and consulting firm in Colorado.
"Color Correction," teaches not only color correction techniques and the concepts behind them, but how to apply them in order to remove color casts, match the color between two images, and set the Auto Color adjustment settings for maximum speed and quality.
"Blend Mode Magic," takes a plain English tour of Photoshop's blending modes and how they can be used to improve and enhance your images. Blending modes are one of photoshop's most powerful and least understood features and can be used to change color of objects, bring out detail in dark areas, prevent color shifts when applying adjustment layers, and much more.
"Understanding Curves," teaches you to truly understand what you're doing when using Photoshop's most powerful adjustment control to adjust the color and tonality of your images. You'll learn the concept behind Curves and how to master various techniques in applying them.
These four tapes are for intermediate to advanced photoshop users and should provide some extremely helpful information for any photographer using this program to enhance and improve images.
